Bustle is seeking creative, remote part-time writers to contribute thoughtful viral and lifestyle content 3-4 days a week during regular office hours. Coverage will include viral trending stories, food, technology, feminism, LGBTQ topics, identity, social justice, health, mental health, and occasionally ghosts.
Ideal candidates should have at least 2+ years of experience in reporting, writing, and/or blogging, ideally about lifestyle topics. Most importantly, you should bring a unique perspective with a definitive voice to your work. Please make that clear in your cover letter.
A minimum commitment of at least three days per week is required. We are currently seeking writers who can work daytime shifts M-F. Writers will work remotely during business hours.
- Experience in and passion for lifestyle topics
- 2+ years writing experience, ideally in the news, lifestyle, or social justice realm
- Availability to work remotely at least 3 weekdays per week
