Our Engineering Team
Our software engineering teams owns the code that runs our business. We maintain many different codebases - from the APIs, services and, third-party integrations that handle subscriptions, billing, shipping, and notifications to our customer support dashboard.
We work in Scrum teams, including daily standup meetings, backlog grooming, planning, review and retrospective meetings. Engineering teams are responsible for developing, testing, reviewing, and deploying their own code. We value attention to detail to provide an exceptional customer experience and strive for open and honest communication.
As a Software Engineer for Internal Applications, you will work as an integral team member to build high quality software for our internal customers. This role is backend focused meaning you should be comfortable implementing API endpoints, queues, eventing, authentication, and database design.

They possess deep knowledge in systems and understand the tradeoffs in creating and delivering high-quality, maintainable software solutions while identifying risks in code, features, and design.
Their expertise extends beyond writing code, encompassing other subject areas such as monitoring, tuning, database design, documentation, integration testing, and visual design. They are known as a technology leader, showing initiative by identifying and suggesting areas of future work for themselves and their teams.
