About the Role
We are looking for a brilliant, creative, and brand-focused Sr. Copywriter to partner with cross-functional teams in developing and guiding brand campaigns, experiential creative, promotional advertising, retail and social initiatives. They will work closely with our design team, who is responsible for leading visual asset creation and photography studio along with a passionate team of marketers, designers, writers, videographers, editors, and social media pros. This person will lead a small but growing team and report directly to the Head of Brand Strategy and Communications. 

The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial approach, a collaborative and can-do attitude, and a desire to write the playbook as we go. 

Responsibilities 
•In collaboration with designers, strategy and operations team, develop and drive innovative solutions for performance-based marketing across all touchpoints 
•Foster and maximize relationships in product, merchandising, member experience, marketing and retail team to gather information 
•Actively gain knowledge of the industry products and processes, trends, the consumer and overall marketplace 
•Apply outstanding writing skills and demonstrates innovation in creating original solutions 
•Communicate and present concepts; builds presentation materials that effectively communicate most important message 
•Share knowledge, experience and skill with coworkers; works with design counterparts to ensure continuity across touchpoints 
•Use conceptual and innovative thinking that is informed by insights to distill complex brand and business challenges into clear concepts that grab attention and move audiences to action
•Lead projects and collaborate with others while also rolling up your sleeves and producing content 
•Write content across all channels such as email, website, paid ads, direct mail, and other channels while approaching every project, big and small, with a focus on our members 
•Management of a growing team; Actively mentor their team members by providing developmental opportunities

Requirements 
•5+ years of agency or marketing experience (preferably both) ideally in CPG, ecommerce and retail 
•Clear, concise writing, with the ability to distill complex ideas into easily understood language 
•Portfolio required -- demonstrated ability to conceptualize brand advertising and proven high-performing digital campaigns 
•Fluency in both digital and traditional channels, including all social media platforms and content creation 
•Thrive in fast-paced environments, welcoming ambiguity of project assignments as an opportunity to shape new brand-building ideas and solutions in a team setting 
•Results driven, with experience using data and insights to shape communication 
•Experience supervising and delegating work successfully within collaborative teams, with a proven ability to provide effective creative feedback on work and help teammates grow and improve 
•Master at crafting compelling and cohesive narratives across channels and touchpoints 
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently 
•Superior communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills 

Nice to haves 
•Bachelors Degree in Journalism or Communications
