ABOUT THE POSITION 
The Merchandising Strategy Analyst will sit on our Revenue Operations team and be responsible for identifying and maximizing all potential profit and revenue opportunities. This role will develop long and short-term incremental sales management strategies and will oversee successful execution of those strategies.  
You will create, implement and train on recommendations and action plans through analysis, strategy, development, consultation and implementation. You will also drive individual index growth in compliance with ButcherBox pricing and Revenue Operations strategies. 
You are proactive, engage in strong problem solving, and respond well to unexpected occurrences. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
•Execute or manage all Revenue Operations decisions on Butcherbox.com (deals page, discounts, badges) 
•Make key Revenue Operations decisions using self generated data analysis 
•Work closely and collaborate with other analysts on both short and long term projects 
•Create box item mixes based on available inventory for the One Time Box flow  
•Collaborate with Procurement & Marketing teams for alignment on incremental promotional plans 
•Using planned promotional, assist in forecasting efforts  
•Align existing resources with BB strategy, mission, and marketplace 
•Anticipate opportunities to advance BB strategy and mission through awareness of the marketplace and cost management practices 
•Represent the Revenue Operations team in cross-functional groups within ButcherBox 

REQUIREMENTS
•2+ years of experience in data analytics
•2+ years of experience pricing and profitability strategy or inventory management
•Professional experience with SQL
•Ability to communicate complex findings and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
•Hard-working and creative person who loves solving difficult problems and "getting it done"
•Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is a plus
$80,000 - $115,000 a year
