The VP of Sales is a newly created role at BVAccel intended for a seller and leader!

As the most senior sales executive at BVAccel, you will have both influence and responsibility for all go-to market activities and will serve as a member of the executive team reporting to the CEO.  This is primarily centered around winning new business, but will extend into client renewals and upsells, sales marketing, sales operations and more. You will lead a team of salespeople and perhaps support personnel while being responsible for selling our full suite of offerings, which includes ecommerce solutions, digital marketing, creative and brand services along with Amazon management.  The ideal candidate will be strong on both the science (pipeline, forecast, tools, etc) and art (entertaining, positioning, relationship building), of sales. We are a high growth company seeking a high growth executive to lead this critical function.

What you'll do

    • Be responsible for winning new business and related revenue generating activities at the company
    • Be active in the marketplace by attending events, seminars and other industry gatherings
    • Harness a “Boots on the Ground” mentality to generate new revenue through managing sensitive inbound leads, cold calling, gaining new logos, and identifying and engaging potential strategic partners
    • Lead and support, execute on business vision, partner with Executive Leadership and inject innovation while creating cross-functional alignment in sales strategy
    • Recruit, lead, mentor, manage and train a lean sales team
    • Pioneer and develop standards of cross-selling by becoming an expert in our offerings, including Shopify Plus, Marketing, Creative and more...

What you'll need

    • Successful tenure in a high-growth environment, preferably in the Digital Transformation, eCommerce, Digital Marketing/Advertising or Technology fields
    • High intelligence with an ability to understand different services and how and when to package together vs. sell independently
    • Strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring/managing a sales team and working closely with them on winning new business
    • A strong, fundamental sales foundation and a proven high-performing history selling complex solutions or portfolio
    • Highly effective and influential communication skills with a passion for working in the field and building relationships with clients
    • Strong presentation skills as you will need to convey material to both small and larger audiences
    • Commercially oriented with an innate curiosity for complex selling opportunities and solutions development
    • An ability to work with senior executives and business owners as well as day-to-day decision makers and influencers
    • Bachelor’s degree required
