Our client, an innovative and rapidly growing international company, is seeking a seasoned Site Superintendent to oversee the operational leadership of a high-profile building project in Mons, Belgium. This role involves managing the site operations with precision, ensuring that all project phases are completed to the highest standards.
About the Role: As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the construction site, working closely with project stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met with excellence. Your leadership will be key in guiding the team, ensuring the successful completion of this complex and dynamic project.
What You’ll Do:
- Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of site personnel, including mentoring junior site superintendents, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Site Coordination: Organize and oversee daily site operations, with a strong focus on maintaining quality, safety, and adherence to the project timeline.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the high-quality execution of construction activities within the set deadlines, emphasizing practical problem-solving and safety on-site.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively participate in site meetings, providing clear and accurate reporting, and maintaining strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a construction-related field.
- Experience: Possess a proven track record with initial experience as a site superintendent, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
- Core Competencies: Display a results-driven mindset, with an emphasis on planning, problem-solving, and safety management. Your ability to mentor and guide a team is essential.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in French and English, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across teams.
