Our client, a leading international company, is seeking a Construction Manager for a large-scale CSS infrastructure project. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing a critical phase of the project, with a focus on logistics, planning, materials, and personnel. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major initiative aimed at advancing sustainability and innovation within the industry, while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
About the Role:
As a Construction Manager, you will take full ownership of a key segment of the project, collaborating closely with the Technical Manager to drive progress and meet essential targets. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the project stays on schedule, leading your team with clear direction and purpose. You will also oversee operations, optimize processes, and maintain strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations, playing a vital role in the overall success and sustainability of the project.
What You’ll Do:
- Team Leadership: Lead and coach the project team, ensuring the right people are in place at the right time.
- Project Coordination: Manage project administration, logistics, and resources efficiently, ensuring alignment with safety and financial goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, the work preparation team, the purchasing department, and Project and Technical Managers to gather the necessary information for project execution.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve work processes and enhance project delivery.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental policies, and manage required permits, materials, and equipment.
- Change Management: Identify and communicate any changes to the project scope, managing additional or reduced work in line with the original assignment.
Your Profile:
- Experience: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline, with extensive experience as a Construction Manager.
- Core Competencies: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach focused on sustainability and innovation.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of sustainable technologies and a passion for driving the company's sustainability initiatives.
