As a Structural Design Engineer, you'll drive the creation of innovative solutions across diverse projects. Your role involves designing structures and coordinating globally to deliver robust solutions for complex buildings and infrastructure projects.
Your role is pivotal in shaping the company's projects, ensuring structural integrity and innovative design across various sectors. Collaborating globally, you'll contribute expertise to deliver exceptional results in complex constructions, impacting the company's success and reputation.
Key Tasks
- Collaborate on intricate building designs and civil/marine infrastructure projects as part of the engineering team.
- Engage closely with global colleagues to understand their needs and local contexts.
- Coordinate structural projects, ensuring thoughtful application of construction methods.
- Refine and articulate design calculations in validated reports in Dutch, French, or English.
- Oversee detailed design drawing production with the drafting team.
Skills & Qualities
- Hold a master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on construction.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in structural design.
- Ideally with prior experience on construction sites.
- Knowledge or experience with SCIA or Revit.
- Demonstrate creativity, analytical thinking, meticulousness, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Display flexibility, a client-oriented approach, and the ability to work well within a team.
Language(s)
- Fluent in either Dutch and/or French, with a good command of the other language.
- Professional proficiency in English.
