The Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation (EIA) Engineer oversees the comprehensive management of the vital aspects of the projects. This role encompasses every phase from tender to execution, including detailed engineering, procurement, supervising installations, and overseeing commissioning processes.

The 8+ years of industrial environment and other relevant experience of the candidate will ensure seamless integration of EIA systems into various projects scopes, varying in size and complexity. Exceptional project management skills will drive excellence within the region and potentially extend internationally to a wider scope.

This role plays a crucial and integral part and such may call for readiness to work abroad or occasionally travel to support projects, demonstrate commitment to ensure the successful supply, installation, commissioning, and start-up of EIA systems. Involvement will extend across the technical and commercial dimensions of the projects, encompassing negotiation with clients, consultants and subcontractors alike. Its contribution will have a far-reaching impact, ensuring EIA integration across international domains.

Key Tasks: Proposal Stage

    • Assist proposal manager in creating suitable technical and price quotes, considering client and consultant requirements
    • Support proposal manager in technical negotiation with clients, consultant and potential subcontractors
    • Lead negotiations with electrical, instrumentation, automation subcontractors/suppliers.

Key Tasks: Execution Stage

    • Collaborate with project manager to define optimal electrical, instrumentation and automation solutions, considering quality and commercial aspects
    • Engage in technical and commercial negotiation with clients, consultants and subcontractors
    • Execute and oversee basic and detailed engineering with subcontractors
    • Support site supervisor/project manager in supply, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities

Skills and Qualities

    • Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation Engineer or equivalent by experience
    • Similar experience in an industrial environment - minimum 5 years; overall experience - minimum 8 years in the sector
    • Knowledge/experience in water treatment, potable water, pumping station and biogas
    • Experience in the international market is a definite plus
    • Capable of both independent work and effective teamwork
    • Flexible and adept at managing multi tasks or projects

    • English (C1 level or higher)
