Our client is seeking a dynamic HSE Advisor to lead their efforts in ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) across their construction sites. As part of their family, you'll play a pivotal role in translating HSE policy into practical tools. Your Tasks
- Cultivate constructive relationships with the company's site teams, jointly overseeing HSE operations on assigned sites.
- Translate HSE policy into practical tools for maximum safety awareness and a secure work environment.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of HSE plans, risk analyses, and emergency protocols.
- Take a hands-on, coaching approach, engaging with site teams to identify and mitigate activity risks.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage administrative aspects of the HSE Management system for assigned sites.
- Deliver HSE training based on expertise.
- Conduct incident investigations and propose corrective actions.
- Support implementation of BESIX Corporate HSE programs.
- Report to regional HSE Manager and assigned Project Manager.
Your Profile
- Must be a Prevention Advisor Level 2 or 1.
- With at least 5 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Must be flexible and willing to work on various projects in Flanders.
- Possess proactive mindset, innovative, results-oriented, and promote teamwork.
- With excellent communication skills, an analytical mind, and a customer-oriented approach.
Language(s)
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English.
- Good knowledge of French is an advantage.
