Our client is an internationally active engineering and contracting firm delivering high-impact projects in energy, infrastructure, and industrial construction. They are responsible for the full MEP scope of a €600 million state-of-the-art glass production facility in Lommel — one of Europe’s largest ongoing industrial projects.

As Junior Electrical Engineer, you will support the electrical engineering scope of the project, gaining hands-on experience in LV, MV, and industrial electrical installations. You’ll assist with design validation, implementation, and coordination on-site while learning from senior engineers. On-site coaching and training will be provided to help you develop technical, coordination, and client-facing skills within an international project team.

What You’ll Do

    • Assist with planning, design, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
    • Support day-to-day supervision of electrical installation activities on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
    • Collaborate with design offices and engineering partners to turn plans into technical realities.
    • Help coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to keep project execution on track.
    • Provide support during inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
    • Contribute practical insights and assist in solving technical challenges.
    • Participate in client meetings and technical discussions to gain exposure to client interactions.

What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Electromechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
    • 0–5 years of relevant experience for junior level, 5+ years for mid-level, preferably in industrial or large-scale construction projects.
    • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems; experience with AutoCAD and Revit is an asset.
    • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work full-time on-site in Lommel.
    • Category B driving license.
