Your Tasks
- Developing and Implementing the Safety Program: Design and execute a strategic HSE program that integrates safety into all facets of operations and projects.
- Embedding the Safety Culture: Lead initiatives to foster a sustainable safety culture through targeted training and awareness campaigns that encourage behavioral change.
- Supporting Communication Campaigns: Collaborate on internal and external communication strategies to promote awareness and adherence to HSE standards.
- Providing Resources and Knowledge: Equip employees with the tools, resources, and training necessary to perform their roles safely and effectively.
- Coaching HSE Ambassadors: Mentor and empower HSE Coaches to inspire others and model exemplary safety practices.
- Monitoring and Reporting Progress: Track the implementation of HSE initiatives, monitor KPIs, and provide transparent reports to senior management.
- Adapting and Improving Programs: Continuously refine the HSE program to align with evolving internal and external demands.
Your Profile
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or scientific field, or a Master’s in Prevention and Environmental Management (minimum Prevention Advisor Level 2).
- At least 5 years of experience in a coordinating role, preferably in safety or project management.
- Strong affinity with the energy or petrochemical sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Proven experience in driving cultural change and motivating diverse teams.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with excellent prioritization skills.
- Hands-on, empathetic approach with outstanding communication and coaching capabilities.
- A problem-solving mindset to effectively address incidents and implement improvements.
