Are you an experienced Project Planner with a passion for managing large-scale construction projects?
Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing company, is seeking a Project Planner to join their expanding project planning team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient initiation and progress of major construction projects.
In this role as a Project Planner, you'll take charge of crafting, updating, and managing the project schedule and progress reports. Your skills will help keep everyone in the loop with real-time updates on how things are going, flag any changes, and clarify forecasts. You'll also be the go-to person for the project management team, offering valuable advice on how to avoid or fix any roadblocks along the way.
What You’ll Do:
- Planning & Monitoring: Develop and maintain the project plan, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflective of the actual progress.
- Issue Resolution: Advise the project management team on preventing and addressing issues that may impact the project timeline.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items. Maintain regular informal communication with project team members to stay ahead of potential challenges.
- Information Gathering: Collect and analyze relevant information related to the project schedule and progress.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with initial experience as a project planner in construction or related industries.
- Skills: Highly organized with strong communication abilities, comfortable collaborating with project teams.
- Problem-Solver: Enjoy working in complex environments, seeing challenges as opportunities to excel.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential. Experience with advanced project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera P6, is a plus.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in French is required.
