Our client, a leading international engineering and construction company, is responsible for delivering the €100M MEP scope of a €600M industrial mega-project in Lommel, Belgium. To strengthen the on-site workforce, we are looking for experienced Welders to carry out all welding works related to MEP installations, including piping, HVAC systems, fire protection, and other mechanical components.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile industrial project alongside international teams, with relocation assistance, work permits, and full on-site support provided.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform all welding works for MEP installations, including:
- Piping systems (carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.)
- HVAC ducts and components
- Fire protection systems
- Other mechanical and plumbing works
- Prepare and assemble materials and components before welding
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment for safe and efficient use
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality, and safety standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, QA/QC inspectors, and international site teams
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Welder on MEP or industrial construction projects
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and isometric plans
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques
- Valid welding certifications are a strong advantage
- Basic English preferred; Romanian speakers highly encouraged to apply
