Our client, a globally recognized leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a senior Construction Manager to spearhead on-site operations for a major international project. About the Role: As a Construction Manager, you will lead complex construction initiatives, coordinating all aspects from personnel and equipment to materials and subcontractors. You'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional results, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Site Management: Oversee planning and execution of civil and marine construction projects, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics, materials, and personnel to support efficient project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor site staff, driving productivity and maintaining high performance standards.
- Resource Planning: Develop and implement resource plans and methodologies to optimize project execution.
- Safety & Compliance: Lead safety initiatives and ensure adherence to ISO standards and environmental regulations.
- Subcontractor Oversight: Supervise subcontractors and enforce regulatory compliance for successful project outcomes.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in managing major international construction projects, ideally in the Middle East.
- Specialization: Preference for candidates with extensive experience in heavy civil and marine projects.
- Logistics & Execution: Deep understanding of construction logistics, resource management, and project execution strategies.
- ISO Knowledge: Proficient in ISO standards, ensuring ongoing compliance throughout all project stages.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluent English and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Work Flexibility: Open to working in remote locations with specialized work arrangements, including rotational schedules.
- Global Flexibility: Open to working and relocating within the Middle East.
