As a Risk Manager on the Oosterweel project, you will lead efforts to identify, manage, and mitigate risks while fostering innovation and proactively resolving potential issues. Your role encompasses design, planning, financial oversight, and contract management, positioning you at the center of this extraordinary mega-project.

Key Responsibilities
- Risk Management: Organize risk sessions, update the risk register, and ensure control measures are implemented.
- Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders across design, financial, and contract teams.
- Quantitative Assessment: Evaluate costs, schedules, and contingencies to inform decision-making.
- Reporting & Training: Create dashboards, deliver risk reports, and coach team members on risk processes.
- Innovation & Learning: Drive improvements, lead brainstorming sessions, and capitalize on lessons learned.
Your Profile
- Engineering Background: Degree in civil or industrial engineering with a preference for additional business administration qualifications. Alternatively, with Business or economics degree (e.g., TEW or commercial engineering) with a strong technical affinity for construction.
- Project Management: Proven experience in project or tender management, or in risk/internal financial control (e.g., budget oversight).
- Analytical Skills: Strong abstract reasoning to assess and address complex challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Training Capability: Skilled at supporting and coaching others in risk management processes.
- Proactive Approach: Ambitious, proactive, and driven to excel in a dynamic environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch is mandatory for effective communication.
