As an experienced Integrated Design Manager, you lead and elaborate the design to the implementation stage together with your design team. Your proven track record with complex infrastructure projects and solid knowledge of design and technical aspects will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
Our client is a large EU general contracting company, active in the construction and engineering of buildings, civil works and infrastructure.
Your Task
- Be involved in the development and initiation process of the project;
- Establish a work organization for efficient division of tasks and lead a multidisciplinary team of designers;
- Provide problem analysis for technical design specifications, risks, and alternatives;
- Responsible for leading and elaborating the design to the implementation level;
- Translate feasibility frameworks into a functional design;
- Communicate with the stakeholders and subcontractors;
- Identify the needs of the customer during the design process;
- Accurate use of project information and project management/design systems;
- Ensure optimal design and quality procedures according to laws and regulations.
Your Profile
- Have a bachelor's or HBO degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar field;
- With at least 8 years of field experience and 7 years as an integral design manager;
- Hands-on experience with CAD design, drawing systems, and automation;
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the market;
- Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills;
- Analytical, results-oriented, and flexible;

- English, optional
EU citizens interested to work and live in Belgium and can speak two of the required languages mentioned above are welcome to apply.

- at the Dordrecht, Netherlands office (flexibility in location is required)
