We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support our client, a leading construction company in the Netherlands, in delivering key road construction, water safety, and energy transition projects. As a Junior Project Manager, you will work closely with senior project leaders to coordinate and manage the technical and organizational aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do:
- Project Coordination: Assist in the preparation and development of work methods and implementation techniques in collaboration with the senior project manager.
- Planning & Monitoring: Ensure that project schedules, including personnel, purchasing, and design timelines, are adhered to, and take corrective action as necessary.
- Cost Control: Contribute to budget management, cost control, and the preparation of internal reports such as quarterly reviews.
- Team Management: Provide operational guidance to project employees, helping to ensure that the project progresses according to plan.
- Client Communication: Analyze information from the client, address deviations or propose implementation alternatives to keep projects on track.
- Safety & Sustainability: Uphold and promote a strong culture of safety and sustainability on all project sites, advising senior management on any risks or issues that arise.
Your Profile:
- Qualifications: Degree in civil engineering, technical business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years in civil engineering or infrastructure, focusing on road, earthworks, or hydraulic projects.
- Organizational Skills: Strong in project coordination and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a key link between design and execution teams.
- Mentorship: Experience mentoring junior staff or interns is a plus.
- Technical Insight: Solid understanding of multidisciplinary project processes and decision impacts.
- Location: Based in Randstad or central Netherlands, with travel flexibility.
