As Project Director, you will lead the delivery of a major marine works project — including a large jetty and marine offloading facility — ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. You’ll oversee all project phases, from contract negotiations to execution, while fostering collaboration between clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Your Task
- Direct all project activities, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to client requirements.
- Oversee contract negotiations, procurement, and stakeholder management.
- Lead financial monitoring, risk management, and reporting to ensure strong project performance.
- Drive technical reviews, resource allocation, and team mobilisation for key milestones.
- Represent the company externally, building strong relationships with clients, partners, and local authorities.
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work on a 6/3 rotational schedule at a secured base camp in Mozambique.
Your Profile
- Academic degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience managing large, complex infrastructure projects (> €150M), preferably in civil or marine works.
- Experience with jetties or quay wall construction is an advantage.
- Strong contract management and claim-handling expertise (FIDIC).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to resolve complex issues and implement practical solutions.
- Experienced in leading multicultural teams in challenging environments.
- Willingness to work as an expat on a rotational basis (6 weeks on / 3 weeks off).
