The junior BIM coordinator plays a vital role in establishing a modeling environment that aligns with BIM Manager's specifications, ensuring accurate results. Acting as a key liaison, you will handle software and technical aspects, while also facilitating seamless communication with engineers to gather essential information for accurate design modeling. You will ensure model cleanliness and timely delivery to the BIM Manager, reflecting client's commitment to precision, collaboration, and efficient project outcomes.
With a proven track record of setting up optimized modeling environments and delivering results aligned with BIM Manager's directives, you can ensure that projects maintain the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Your role as a primary point of contact for BIM Managers, coupled with their effective communication with engineers, will expedite information flow and streamline design modeling. Moreover, your experience in maintaining clean models and timely delivery will contribute to client's reputation for meticulousness and punctuality in project execution, ultimately bolstering the company's overall success.

Key Tasks
- You will be responsible for ensuring that BIM models consistently adhere to established standards;
- You will oversee the management of version control for discipline-specific models, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date representation;
- You will regularly integrate and synchronize discipline models into BIM coordination models to maintain a comprehensive project overview;
- You will identify discrepancies and coordination issues through meticulous 3D collision checks and on-site visits;
- You will report to the design manager any potential design inconsistencies to ensure timely resolution;
- You will take charge of organizing and leading BIM coordination meetings to facilitate effective communication among stakeholders;
- You will collaborate closely with Design Managers to define geometric interfaces and associated controls, ensuring precise project alignment.
Skills and Qualities
- Have a master's degree or HBO degree in Engineering or Architecture;.
- Have at least 2-3 years of experience as a BIM Engineer or Modeler. Experience with BIM on a large project (+25M$) is a plus;
- Have strong command on Revit and other major modeling software such as Civil 3D, Tekla and/or ArchiCAD;
- Have proven experience BIM standards and BIM Management software (Navisworks and/or Solibri Model Checker);
- Have knowledge of 4D and 5D BIM processes and tools is a plus;
- Geographically flexible to work in Brussels area.
Language(s)
- Dutch and French are required or at least one of two;
- English proficiency is required;
- EU citizens interested to work and live in Belgium and fluent in Dutch are welcome to apply. Knowledge in French and English is a plus.
