As an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager, you are an enthusiastic and dynamic professional with an eye for business growth, client relationship management, and sustainability solutions. You will engage with prospective clients and stakeholders, applying strategic thinking to deliver tailored energy solutions. You will have the incredible opportunity to develop and expand the energy solutions business in the region, identifying and assessing new opportunities to strengthen our leading market position. You will focus on acquiring new corporate clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.

Our client is an environmental technology and multinational company with a global footprint in more than 20 countries.

Your Tasks

    • Manage prospective client pipeline from start to end, tracking opportunities, validating leads, and closing opportunities;
    • Prepare offers and providing the appropriate pre-sales information in close collaboration with Business Development and other experts;
    • Responsible for research and analysis of the markets and sectors to identify potential commercial opportunities and build into compelling business plans;
    • Develop new strategic technical opportunities to stimulate financial return in commercializing products and services of the energy market; 
    • Prepare the sales plan, manage and monitor business performance against targets;
    • Build strong and strategic alliances and manage commercial relationships ongoing beyond launch phase among new and existing clients.

Your Profile

    • Have masters degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management or related field;
    • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in project engineering, proposal or technical sales in heavy industries, machinery, process, oil & gas;
    • Have a commercial spirit and is ideally experienced in technical-commercial tasks/function;
    • Requires regular travelling local and abroad.

Languages

    • English, required;
    • Dutch, optional but is a plus;
    • French, optional but is a plus;
    • EU citizens interested to work and live in Belgium are welcome to apply.
