As a Junior Buyer, you will support the Global Category Manager in the sourcing and procurement process for construction-related categories. Your role will involve strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives, contributing to the company’s procurement strategy. You will play an essential role in ensuring vendor relationships are optimized and the procurement process is efficient and cost-effective.

Your Task
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies for designated categories.
- Engage in strategic sourcing to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for categories and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support tendering teams with competitive strategies.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives across multiple projects.
- Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Manage vendor performance and assist in the execution of framework agreements.
- Support innovation initiatives by engaging with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Regularly monitor market trends to adjust vendor strategies and ensure competitiveness.
Your Profile
- A Master’s degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Initial experience or internship in procurement is a plus.
- A keen interest in procurement and the construction industry.
- Strong analytical skills and a desire to learn.
- A collaborative mindset and good communication skills.
- A willingness to travel on-site to meet with project teams and stakeholders.
