Our client is an internationally active engineering and contracting firm delivering high-impact projects in energy, infrastructure, and industrial construction. They are responsible for the full MEP scope of a €600 million state-of-the-art glass production facility in Lommel — one of Europe’s largest ongoing industrial projects.
As Junior Electrical Designer, you will support the project’s electrical engineering activities, gaining hands-on experience in LV, MV, and BMS systems. You’ll assist with 2D/3D design coordination, technical documentation, and subcontractor liaison to ensure smooth execution. You’ll receive on-site coaching and training from senior engineers, helping you develop your technical, coordination, and client-facing skills within an international team.
What You’ll Do
- Support the preparation and coordination of 2D/3D designs for LV, MV, and BMS systems.
- Assist senior engineers with calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Help manage design offices and external engineering partners.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and safe execution.
- Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Contribute to client meetings and technical discussions.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in electrical design and installation.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 0–5 years of experience in industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects (internships considered).
- Interest in LV/MV/BMS systems and industrial electrical installations.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; Revit is a strong asset (training provided on the job).
- Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to work full-time on-site in Lommel.
- Category B driving license.
