For young electro-mechanical or electrical engineers wanting to kick start their career as a Junior Tender Engineer in a construction industry with an interest to work for the office in Ghent.
Our client is an important general contracting company in Belgium, active in the construction and engineering of buildings, civil works, infrastructure and pipeline projects. With projects in Belgium, EU and abroad, they offer a wide range of career opportunities.
What you’ll do
- technical analysis and contractual evaluation of Clients requirements;
- organize tender kick-of and follow-up meetings with all (internal and external) people concerned;
- contact subcontractors and manage the required input of all parties involved;
- do the risk assessment and cost-calculation for the different itemized work;
- do the tender composition taking into account all administrative, contractual and technical instructions;
- responsible for the follow-up and commercial administration of current tenders;
You will qualify because you
- have a bachelor or master’s degree in electro-mechanical or electrical engineering;
- have graduated in 2020 or 2021;
- are geographically flexible to work on projects in Brussels, Flanders or Wallonia (depending on where you live);
- are immediately willing to take ownership and push your boundaries;
Of course, languages are important
- Dutch is required if working on Projects in Brussels and Flanders
- French is required if working on Projects in Brussels and Wallonia
- English is optional but always useful
You will be based
- On site, depending on the location of the project this can be in Brussels, Flanders or the Wallonia.
