As a Director – Rebar & Formwork Plant and Services, you will oversee the strategic, operational, and financial management of the rebar and formwork plant, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Our client is a large EU general contracting company, active in construction, real estate development, and concessions.
What you’ll do
- Define and execute the strategic vision for rebar and formwork operations
- Lead business development efforts and identify growth opportunities
- Oversee daily plant operations, optimizing production and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage budgets, control costs, and drive financial performance
- Develop and implement operational excellence initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team
You will qualify because you
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Have 10-15 years of experience in rebar/formwork manufacturing or construction services, with 5+ years in senior leadership
- Possess strong knowledge of rebar fabrication, formwork systems, and construction methodologies
- Have proven expertise in plant management, cost control, and operations optimization
- Are fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English
- Excel in leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management
