The Document Controller ensures effective management and organization of project documents, fostering seamless communication and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate adeptly maintains accurate records, facilitating efficient collaboration within various projects.

Key Tasks

    • Establish and maintain comprehensive document control including project-related files like drawings, contracts, reports, and correspondence;
    • Establish filing protocols that promote accessibility, consistency, and metadata integration, all while overseeing document compliance with established standards, regulations, and project requirements;
    • Work closely with project teams to verify adherence to guidelines during document submissions and conduct audits to ensure documentation accuracy;
    • Utilize software for centralized document storage and update the database consistently;
    • Address document-related queries and provide training or guidance on document control to project members;
    • Manage incoming documents and offer technical support to users of the document management systems;
    • Identify trends and initiate process refinements to optimize document control procedures.

Skills & Qualities

    • Bachelor’s degree in Document Management or equivalent by experience;
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience;
    • Knowledge of various Document Management Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
    • Experience in document management within the construction industry is an advantage;
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
