Our client, a globally recognized leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Technical Office Manager with expertise in heavy Civil and Marine works. This role involves managing the technical aspects of a high-profile international project, ensuring precise coordination and implementation across all phases.
About the Role: As a Technical Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical execution on-site, coordinating closely with the Project Director to ensure all project requirements are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving the success of these complex and challenging ventures.
What You’ll Do:
- Team Leadership: Oversee a multidisciplinary team of technical and administrative professionals.
- Site Coordination: Organize and plan site team activities, setting short-term priorities to optimize quality, efficiency, and workflow continuity.
- Client Management: Address and resolve complex customer demands with a focus on maintaining strong client relationships.
- Specialized Trades: Manage specific trades relevant to the project, such as steel structures and complex concrete prefabrication units.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: Hold a Master’s degree in civil engineering.
- Experience: Bring over 15 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in managing large, complex construction projects (civil works, or marine works).
- Core Competencies: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility, innovation, and a results-driven approach, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively seek improvements and anticipate challenges, effectively leading your team to resolve issues as they arise.
- Communication & Leadership: Possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a strong client focus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with additional language skills being an advantage.
- Global Flexibility: Open to working and relocating within the Middle East.
