Our client is an internationally active engineering and contracting firm specialising in the execution of complex mechanical, electrical, and HVAC works. With a strong reputation in industrial and infrastructure projects across Europe, they bring hands-on expertise and technical precision to every site.
Currently, the team is delivering all MEP works for a new glass production facility in Lommel, acting as the dedicated subcontractor for this high-impact project.
As a CAD Designer, you’ll support the site team by preparing and updating technical drawings for mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring plans are clear, accurate, and ready for on-site execution.
What You’ll Do
- Create and modify 2D drawings for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and electrical systems.
- Support on-site engineers and coordinators with installation drawings and layout updates.
- Adjust drawings based on as-built feedback and site progress.
- Coordinate with the execution team to ensure drawings reflect real on-site conditions and installation constraints.
- Maintain digital drawing files and documentation in accordance with the project structure.
- Provide clear technical drawings and layout visuals that guide daily installation activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or Drafting/Design.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant CAD experience in building or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or BIM tools are a plus).
- Understanding of MEP systems and basic construction workflows.
- Precise, methodical, and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
