As a Junior Plant and Equipment Engineer, you will support the company’s plant & equipment department and collaborate with the operational team. You must have a master’s degree in engineering with prior technical experience, ideally in machinery and equipment for the construction sector.
Our client is a large EU general contracting company, active in construction, real estate development, and concessions.
What you’ll do
- Organize the mobilization and demobilization of equipment for international projects
- Support execution teams on-site and collaborate with the methods department
- Ensure the technical and administrative follow-up of the equipment fleet
- Gradually take on more responsibilities after an initial start-up period
- Work primarily from the Brussels office but conduct regular site visits for equipment inspection
- Provide back-office support to the national equipment department
You will qualify because you
- Hold a master’s degree in industrial or civil engineering, specializing in mechanics or electro-mechanics
- Have at least a first relevant work experience
- Have a strong technical interest in machinery, engines, and equipment
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of responsibility
- Are a fluent communicator, capable of clearly expressing ideas and technical concepts

- Dutch, required
- French, optional
- English, optional
