Job Overview:
We are searching for a highly experienced Senior Road Site Superintendent to lead key road construction and renovation projects in the western and central regions of the Netherlands. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations on large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring that work is executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating on-site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in the success of these asphalt-heavy projects.

What You’ll Do:
- Project Preparation: Lead the planning and preparation phases of road construction projects, including material procurement, subcontractor coordination, and environmental management.
- Execution Support: Provide vital support during the construction phase, ensuring smooth operations and assisting with additional project requirements as needed.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact between your project team, suppliers, subcontractors, and the broader community, ensuring timely communication and collaboration.
- Material Management: Oversee the ordering of all materials, from asphalt mixtures to sewer systems, ensuring everything is procured on time and in line with project specifications.
- Documentation: Prepare essential project documents such as purchase orders, inspection reports, and work plans using SAP software.
- Environmental Management: Inform residents and businesses affected by projects, ensuring transparent communication and addressing their concerns.
Your Profile:
- Education: Minimum MBO level in civil engineering, technical business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in road construction planning or a similar field, with a strong understanding of civil engineering project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat; knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
- Team Player: You are socially engaged, responsible, and able to prioritize tasks across multiple projects. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy bringing new ideas to the table, such as implementing AI or optimizing workflows.
- Growth-Oriented: Eager to take on new challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of the planning department.
