Our client is an internationally active engineering and contracting firm delivering high-impact projects in energy, infrastructure, and industrial construction. They are responsible for the full MEP scope of a €600 million state-of-the-art glass production facility in Lommel — one of Europe’s largest ongoing industrial projects.
As Junior Electrical MEP Coordinator, you’ll be on-site in Lommel, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers for the electrical installations of this landmark project. You’ll support the senior engineers in supervising installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring everything runs safely, on time, and to quality standards. You’ll receive on-the-job coaching to build up your technical and coordination skills in an international environment.
What You’ll Do
- Follow up subcontractors on-site for electrical installations.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with the site manager and senior engineers.
- Monitor safety, quality, and scheduling on-site.
- Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Assist with technical drawings and ensure site execution matches design.
- Communicate progress and issues to the technical office and project managers.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electromechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 0–5 years of experience in electrical installations on large projects (junior profiles welcome).
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong asset for site coordination.
- Hands-on, proactive, and eager to grow into a coordinator role.
- Category B driving license.
