As a Freelance Recruiter, you will take on a crucial responsibility in sourcing and attracting high-caliber talent within the engineering sector. You will collaborate closely with the HR and management teams to ensure a smooth and effective recruitment process. We encourage candidates of all experience levels, from junior to senior, to apply for this role.

Key Tasks

    • Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
    • Proactively source and build a strong network of engineering professionals through various channels such as job boards, social media, industry events, and referrals.
    • Assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for our organization.
    • Manage and maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with universities, technical schools, and industry organizations to build a talent pipeline.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
    • Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment progress to the HR team and management.

Skills & Qualities

    • Junior Recruiter:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated interest in the engineering industry.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

    • Medior/Senior Recruiter (in addition to the above):
    • Proven experience as a recruiter in the engineering industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of engineering roles, skills, and qualifications.
    • Strong network of contacts within the engineering community.
    • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
    • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

Language(s)

    • Multilingual proficiency, with fluency in Dutch.
    • Knowledge of English and French is a plus.
