As an Environmental Coordinator, you will ensure the effective implementation of the ISO14001-certified Environmental Management System across projects in the Flanders and Brussels regions. This hands-on role is key in supporting legal compliance, driving CO₂ reporting, and contributing to sustainability and environmental excellence on large-scale infrastructure works.

Your Task
- Implement and maintain ISO14001-compliant environmental systems across projects in Flanders and Brussels
- Support GHG monitoring, CO₂ project planning, and sustainability reporting
- Advise on environmental aspects of tenders and ensure permit compliance
- Coordinate with project teams on legal compliance, risk management, and reporting
- Drive site-based training and awareness initiatives
- Contribute to achieving building certifications (BREEAM, LEED, HQE)
- Participate in audits, site visits, and CO₂ Performance Ladder initiatives
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Prevention, or related field
- Recognized Environmental Coordinator certification or 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with GHG/CO₂ management and sustainability reporting is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Flemish and Brussels permitting procedures, especially for construction-related environmental aspects
- Familiarity with ISO14001 standards and environmental risk assessments
- Practical, problem-solving mindset with strong organizational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to train and engage site teams
- Flexible and open to site travel within Flanders and Brussels
