Our client is a major construction and engineering group with a strong presence in Belgium and internationally. We are seeking a BIM Project Manager to oversee a large civil construction project in Ghent. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and coordinating all BIM processes from start to finish. Acting as the central point of contact for digital project delivery, you will ensure that BIM standards, workflows, and tools are applied effectively across multiple disciplines.
What You’ll Do
- Define BIM scope, workflows, and procedures in line with project requirements.
- Plan and manage BIM resources, training needs, ICT requirements, and budget.
- Oversee model coordination across structural, architectural, and MEP teams.
- Lead BIM management and coordination meetings with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
- Maintain a BIM execution plan aligned with overall project objectives.
- Ensure efficient information exchange through a common data environment (CDE).
- Monitor quality and compliance of models with international BIM standards.
- Produce BIM progress reports and support the design and construction teams with digital solutions.
- Facilitate clash detection and ensure coherence across project models.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Construction, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of BIM management experience, ideally on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of BIM authoring tools (Revit, Tekla, Civil 3D, ArchiCAD).
- Proficient with coordination platforms (Navisworks, Solibri, Revizto).
- Experience with CDE platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar).
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 and openBIM standards (IFC, COBie, BCF).
- Experience with 4D/5D BIM and parametric tools (Dynamo/Grasshopper) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and teams.

- Dutch & English required
- French is an asset
