Our client is seeking experienced Construction Managers across multiple disciplines—buildings and infrastructure works— to lead their large-scale projects in Belgium, Europe, and internationally.
As a Construction Manager, you will oversee the management, development, and planning of on-site construction activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, reporting directly to the Project Director.
Key Tasks
- Set up and coordinate the construction site, managing logistics, materials, and personnel.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Project Management and the Technical Office Management.
- Lead, coach, and manage the site superintendent team.
- Oversee work sequencing to ensure efficient project delivery and minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure all QHSE procedures are strictly followed on site.
- Initiate and participate in key site meetings.
Your Profile
- With a degree in construction engineering or relevant course.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a major construction company, preferably on large-scale buildings, civil and/or marine work projects.
- Possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mind, and a client-focused approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility, innovation, result-orientation, and a team player.
Language(s)
- Must be fluent in English.
- Knowledge of other languages such as Dutch or French is an advantage.
Location
- You are open to working and living abroad.
- Must be flexible regarding the work location.
