Our client is a leading international construction and engineering group delivering complex infrastructure and industrial projects worldwide. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and innovative solutions, the company is expanding its presence in South America.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Office Engineer (TOE) to support marine works projects in Brazil. You will coordinate between design, site teams, and project stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Hands‑on experience with quay walls is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Review and analyze technical drawings, designs, and specifications for marine structures (jetty/MOF, quay walls, diaphragm walls).
- Coordinate with design and construction teams to resolve technical and site execution issues.
- Prepare and validate quantity take‑offs, material lists, and cost estimates; support cost control and progress tracking.
- Monitor project progress, report deviations, and propose corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and manage technical documentation, method statements, ITPs, and as‑built records.
- Provide technical input for procurement and subcontractor scopes; review vendor proposals and submittals.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth technical workflows and timely approvals.
What We’re Looking For
- Master's or a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience as a Technical Office Engineer on infrastructure or industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings, quantity calculations, and cost control.
- Proficiency in project documentation and reporting.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (both mandatory)
- Strong communication and coordination skills in an international project environment.
- Location: On‑site in Brazil; open to local Brazilian candidates with strong English.
- Important: These are high‑level technical roles for Civil Engineers (Master’s only) with a marine (quay walls/jetty/MOF background). Applications from unrelated profiles will not be considered.
