As a proposal engineer, you craft comprehensive project proposals, estimate costs, and present technical solutions to potential clients for project acquisition and company growth.

Key Tasks
- Accountable to the Bid Manager or the Operations Manager
- Prepares quotation requests and identifies appropriate suppliers and subcontractors
- Encourages suppliers and subcontractors to submit the best project proposals
- Finalise bids with team members
- Based on project size and type, assist with tasks such as P&ID setup, equipment lists, technical deliverables, and bill of quantities
- Handles projects ranging in size from small (1 million EUR) to large (100 million EUR)
- Participated in projects both within the Benelux region and on a global scale
Skills & Qualities
- A minimum of 5 years experience in water treatment plant projects, either as a tenderer or as a project manager
- It is necessary to have at least three years of dedicated experience in tender-related activities
- Proficiency in various stages of designing and executing water treatment projects is required, with experience in a variety of process treatments adding value
- Throughout the bid preparation and contract completion phases, demonstrated flexibility and capability in meeting defined challenges
Languages
- Dutch Required
- French is a plus but not required
- English is a plus but not required
