Our client is an internationally active engineering and contracting company with a strong track record in delivering complex electrical and mechanical installations across industrial and infrastructure projects in Europe. Currently, the team is executing all electrical works for a large-scale glass production facility in Lommel.

As a Junior Site Superintendent – Electrical Installations (Lommel Project), you will support the site team in the execution of electrical systems, ensuring they are delivered safely, accurately, and according to plan. This is a hands-on, site-based role ideal for recent graduates or junior professionals looking to grow in the field of industrial electrical engineering.

What You’ll Do

    • Assist with the layout and execution of medium and low voltage electrical installations on site.
    • You install and organise the electrical works on the construction site (logistics, materials, people)
    • You direct all aspects of the day-to-day execution of the project, and you monitor and coordinate work performed by the electrical superintendents and workmen
    • You lead, coach and manage several skilled and experienced site electrical engineers 
    • You direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and to minimise disruption of ongoing operations
    • You plan the resources related to the Electrical Works
    • You select, audit and supervise subcontractors
    • You maintain regular contact with the customers or their representatives
    • You attend and lead important site meetings 
    • You report directly to the MEP Construction Manager on the progress and output of your own teams and suppliers

What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
    • 0 to 3 years of experience in industrial or building electrical installations.
    • Familiarity with on-site work execution and technical coordination.
    • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to read technical drawings.
    • Motivated to work in a dynamic construction environment.
    • Fluent in Dutch and English.
