Our client, a leading international engineering and construction company, has been entrusted with delivering the €100 million MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) scope of a €600 million investment in a cutting-edge glass production facility in Lommel. This large-scale industrial project is set to become one of Belgium’s most significant developments, and our client plays a critical role in its successful delivery.
As Junior HVAC (MEP) Coordinator – Electrical, you’ll be based on-site and support the execution and coordination of all electrical installations within the HVAC/MEP scope. This includes LV/MV systems, control wiring for HVAC equipment, and integration with building management systems (BMS). You’ll work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team to ensure the timely and safe delivery of the electrical works. This is a junior role with hands-on exposure to site management and on-the-job coaching.
What You’ll Do
- Support the coordination of subcontractors installing electrical systems for HVAC/MEP installations (power supply, control wiring, and BMS).
- Assist in checking electrical drawings, quantities, and site conditions to ensure compliance with technical designs.
- Monitor progress, safety, and quality on site, reporting deviations to senior staff.
- Attend daily coordination meetings with site supervisors, safety officers, and subcontractors.
- Support the preparation of work permits, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Liaise with the Technical Office Engineer to ensure electrical designs are executed correctly.
- Help resolve on-site electrical/technical queries in collaboration with senior coordinators.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar).
- 0–5 years of experience in site coordination or project engineering for electrical/MEP installations (internships count).
- Strong interest in site execution, subcontractor management, and health & safety.
- Hands-on, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Category B driving license.

- English required
- Dutch or French is an asset
