As a Junior Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of technicians for the maintenance of construction machines at various international yards.
Our client is an important general contracting company in Belgium, active in the construction and engineering of buildings, civil works, infrastructure and pipeline projects. With projects in Belgium, EU and abroad, they offer a wide range of career opportunities.
What you’ll do
- perform all planned maintenance work and repairs on various construction machines together with a team of technicians;
- manage the spare parts for each yard, map the needs and set up the correct logistics processes;
- determine which stocks of the critical parts are required on the site and which can be sent from the central warehouse;
- be the point of contact for the 'internal' customers being the Project Leaders for various international projects and guarantee them a perfect 'service';
- work daily with a team of experienced technicians and form the link between the site management on the one hand and the materials service on the other;
- report to the Responsible Maintenance Equipment;
You will qualify because you
- have a Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanics;
- have graduated in 2020 or 2021 or have had prior initial experience within a maintenance department;
- are passionate about technology and ‘yard machines';
- have good problem solving skills to address technical problems in a structured and systematic manner;
- are willing to regularly travel abroad through Europe and geographically flexible to work on projects in Brussels, Flanders or Wallonia (depending on where you live);
Of course, languages are important
- Dutch is required if working on Projects in Brussels and Flanders;
- French is required if working on Projects in Brussels and Wallonia;
- English is optional but an advantage;

- On site, depending on the location of the project this can be in Brussels, Flanders or the Wallonia.
