As a BIM Project Manager, you will lead BIM projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, BIM standards, and project goals while managing teams across multiple disciplines.
Your Tasks
- Project Planning: Define BIM scope, resources, and workflows based on contract requirements.
- BIM Management: Establish a BIM Execution Plan (BEP), oversee schedules, budgets, and quality control.
- Team Leadership: Supervise BIM Leaders across various disciplines (Structure, Architecture, MEP, Methods, Coordination).
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main BIM point of contact for internal teams, clients, partners, and subcontractors.
- Information Management: Maintain BIM data workflows, model validation, and quality assurance in compliance with ISO 19650.
- Technology & Innovation: Utilize IFC format exports, model coordination tools (Revizto, Navisworks, Solibri), and CDE platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Reporting & Compliance: Generate BIM progress reports and ensure alignment with project management objectives.
Your Qualities
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- Experience: 5+ years as a BIM Manager, ideally on large-scale projects.
- Software Expertise: Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, ArchiCAD.
- Coordination & Standards: Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, IFC, IDM, IFD, COBie, BCF.
- Additional Skills: Experience with 4D/5D BIM, Grasshopper/Dynamo, and programming is a plus.
- Leadership & Organization: Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and drive team performance.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch & English; French is a plus.
