Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing complex building projects?
Our client, a rapidly expanding international company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee high-profile building projects in Brussels and across Flanders. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring exceptional outcomes in terms of quality, safety, and profitability.
About the Role: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the complete management of building projects from initiation to completion. You’ll be the driving force behind project planning, quality assurance, safety, budget management, and team leadership. Your expertise will ensure all legal, financial, safety, and technical aspects of the projects are meticulously managed, while also fostering strong client relationships and ensuring the project adheres to health, safety, and environmental standards.
What You’ll Do:
- End-to-End Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of building projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards in quality, safety, and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Directly manage a team of operational staff and/or subcontractors or via a Site Manager. Ensure each team member is effectively placed to optimize project performance.
- Contract & Compliance Management: Handle all legal, financial, technical, and quality-related documents. Ensure that the necessary permits are in place and up to date.
- Budget & Performance Monitoring: Track project budgets and financial reports, ensuring profitability and maintaining oversight on project results.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks early on and implement solutions to resolve issues promptly.
- Technical Oversight: As an expert in your field, provide technical guidance to teams during the implementation phase of projects.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining strong relationships.
- Adherence to Policies: Ensure all projects comply with safety, health, quality, and environmental policies.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a construction-related field (civil or structural engineering preferred).
- Experience: You have several years of relevant experience in managing complex building projects.
- Organizational Skills: You excel in planning, problem-solving, and team management, with a proactive and forward-thinking mindset.
- Language Proficiency: A good command of French is required; knowledge of Dutch or English is an asset.
- Communication Skills: You are a strong communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders and build solid client relationships.
