Our client, a rapidly growing international company, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their dynamic team for a high-profile construction project in the Mons region. This role involves overseeing and ensuring the quality of work on-site, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest standards in construction quality.
About the Role: As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for managing the quality assurance and control processes on construction sites. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that all work meets the required standards, and you will drive the implementation of quality procedures and risk management strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Quality Control: Inspect and evaluate the quality of work on construction sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards.
- Documentation: Develop procedures and technical proposals, maintain quality forms, certificates, and manage a project risk register.
- Reporting: Collect quality registrations, analyze data (e.g., non-conformity reports), and report quality issues and non-conformities.
- Personnel Support: Oversee toolbox talks, personnel qualifications, secondment details, and provide guidance on equipment certifications.
- Equipment Verification: Ensure all equipment used is inspected and certified, maintaining a high level of operational quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with teams to continuously improve quality processes and ensure adherence to company policies.
Your Profile
- Experience & Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, with experience in quality control, particularly in construction or civil works.
- Passion for Quality & Safety: A strong focus on safety and a proactive approach to keeping teams aware of quality standards.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
