Our client, a leading international engineering and construction company, has been entrusted with delivering the €100 million MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) scope of a €600 million investment in a cutting-edge glass production facility in Lommel. This large-scale industrial project is set to become one of Belgium’s most significant developments, and our client plays a critical role in its successful delivery.
We are seeking ambitious junior engineers (0–3 years of experience) eager to grow into site-based technical experts. You will join the construction team for a state-of-the-art glass production plant, supporting the installation and supervision of production lines from start to finish — from the furnace to the bottle manufacturing systems
What You’ll Do
- Assist in site supervision of mechanical and electrical installation works
- Support the assembly, alignment, and testing of production equipment and lines
- Work closely with senior engineers to ensure quality, safety, and scheduling are met
- Contribute to problem-solving on-site and coordinate with subcontractors
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications in real-world execution
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and site updates
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical background)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, site execution, or project coordination
- Proven interest in industrial construction and production line installation, with a drive to work on complex projects
- Fluency in English (additional European languages are an asset); EU nationality with readiness to relocate to Belgium
- Practical, proactive mindset — eager to take initiative, learn quickly, and grow within a fast-paced international setting
