As a BIM Coordinator,, you will serve as the technical support in Building Information Management (BIM). Your role encompasses connecting aspect models and various software programs while also taking charge of building model setup and testing. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating the BIM process and ensuring the seamless generation of production-related information across infrastructure projects.
Key Tasks
- You will be responsible for ensuring that BIM models consistently adhere to established standards;
- You will oversee the management of system-technical coordination of the BIM-specific aspect of the construction process, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date representation;
- You will regularly integrate and synchronize discipline models into BIM coordination models to maintain a comprehensive project overview;
- You will build, test and validate the building model while generating essential data for the production phase.
Skills & Qualities
- Have an HBO-degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (NL) or Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, Architecture (BE);
- Have at least 3 years of experience construction company or engineering firm;
- Have strong command of BIM software products including Revit Structure and/or Autodesk and Navisworks;
- Have technical skillset and knowledge of necessary building regulations;
- Have knowledge in automated project management is a plus.
Languages
- Dutch, required
- French, optional but an advantage
- English, optional but an advantage
EU citizens previously worked in Belgium who are fluent in Dutch are welcome to apply. Knowledge in French and English is a plus.
