Be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to developing a major infrastructure project in Belgium. The works involve large-scale civil construction in the Ghent region, where precision, planning, and engineering excellence are critical to project success. The company leading this effort is recognised for its in-house engineering strength and consistent delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Europe and beyond.
As part of the team, the Land Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out high-precision measurements and site layout activities. Working closely with construction and engineering teams, you will play a key role in ensuring execution accuracy and supporting documentation throughout the lifecycle of the works.
What You’ll Do
- Execute topographic surveys and layout marking directly on-site to support construction progress.
- Act as a central point of contact for measurement-related activities within your assigned project area.
- Use specialized survey software to process data and collaborate with the internal engineering/design department.
- Maintain accurate and well-documented records of all surveying activities.
- Coordinate and communicate results with site management to ensure alignment between design and field execution.
- Provide data for as-built documentation and conduct joint measurements with client representatives when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Land Surveying, Geodesy, or equivalent experience in civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in topographical instruments and digital surveying tools.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Basic knowledge of 3D laser scanning and drone inspection is a strong asset.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a technical team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply technical construction guidelines.
- Prior surveying experience in civil works or infrastructure projects is highly valued.

- English – A plus
Work Conditions
- Full-time, on-site position based in the Ghent region.
- Reports regularly to the Area Manager and collaborates with multidisciplinary site teams.
