Our client is a global construction group recognised for its large-scale, technically complex projects in infrastructure and marine construction. For a high-impact marine/civil project in Brazil, we are seeking a Chief Site Superintendent with hands-on field expertise across multiple civil disciplines.
As a Chief Site Superintendent, your key role covers all trades on the project and requires a comprehensive understanding of site execution in a multidisciplinary environment. You will be the leading figure on-site, coordinating across trades, ensuring execution quality, and acting as the central operational figure for the works.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and coordinate all site activities across civil and marine trades
- Lead a team of site superintendents and ensure alignment of all subcontractors
- Act as the primary operational reference on-site for project management
- Ensure daily execution is in line with project schedules, technical specifications, and safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews
- Liaise closely with the Construction Manager, QHSE, and Technical Office
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and material needs in real-time
- Drive proactive issue resolution and optimisation of site workflows
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in complex infrastructure projects
- Strong technical understanding across all civil disciplines (concrete, earthworks, marine, utilities, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage multi-trade execution in a dynamic site environment
- Hands-on leader with strong organisational and people management skills
- Previous experience in marine works is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Languages
- English – professional proficiency
- Portuguese – highly preferred
