Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding international company, is seeking a skilled HSE Coordinator to enhance their team for challenging projects in the Mons region, Belgium. This role involves overseeing safety on worksites and ensuring the high-quality execution of work, making it critical to the success of these projects.

About the Role: As an HSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring safety standards are met on-site, supporting the Project Manager, and maintaining the overall quality of work. Your expertise will be vital in guiding the team to adhere to safety protocols and achieve project goals.

What You’ll Do:

    • Safety Support: Assist the Project Manager in developing and updating risk assessments, ensuring that all safety measures are in place and up-to-date.
    • Documentation Management: Maintain safety information documents for on-site products and provide guidance to employees regarding their proper use.
    • Safety Coordination: Monitor and coordinate safety-related tasks, ensuring all activities align with safety regulations and procedures.
    • Behavioral Motivation: Encourage and motivate team members to adhere to safety practices and apply safety instructions correctly.
    • Action Implementation: Develop and execute initiatives that promote safe behavior and enhance overall safety on-site.

Your Profile:

    • Experience: Demonstrate a strong foundation in safety management, either through academic background or practical experience.
    • Core Competencies: Exhibit a commitment to quality and safety, with the ability to keep the team focused and proactive in maintaining safety standards.
    • Language Proficiency: Fluent in French, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with all team members and stakeholders.
