About the Role: As a Contract Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our projects' contractual integrity. You will guide the process from initial opportunity identification through tendering, negotiation, and execution, ensuring each phase meets the highest standards. Your role is pivotal in shaping project success, safeguarding compliance, and driving value at every stage.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Contract Oversight: Lead comprehensive reviews of contract terms and conditions in collaboration with legal and cross-functional teams.
- Negotiation Excellence: Drive successful negotiations that secure favorable terms, protecting the company’s interests while fostering strong client relationships.
- JV/Consortium Leadership: Finalize agreements essential to project execution, ensuring all parties align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Operational Support: Develop and implement procedures that streamline contract management, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Subcontract Management: Provide critical support during subcontract negotiations, managing changes, claims, and disputes with precision.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of contract management strategies and mentor team members to uphold the highest standards.
Your Profile:
- Expertise & Experience: A degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, with at least 10 years in contract management on large civil works projects (400M+ Euro). A solid understanding of FIDIC contracts is essential.
- Negotiation Mastery: Proven track record in leading international commercial negotiations, with a talent for managing complex client and supplier relationships.
- Leadership & Organization: Strong time management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to navigate multifaceted challenges with a calm, solution-oriented approach.
- Global Mindset: Fluent in English, with additional language skills being a significant advantage.
