Our client, a dynamic international company, is seeking a Project Planner to join their growing project planning team. This role focuses on efficiently managing the timelines and progress of large-scale construction projects, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion.
About the Role:
As a Project Planner, your primary responsibility will be to create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules. You will ensure that progress is tracked accurately and provide insights into any changes, forecasts, or bottlenecks. Regular consultation with the project team will allow you to offer expert advice on resolving potential issues and optimizing the planning process. You'll also play a key role in documenting agreements, actions, and keeping stakeholders informed.
What You’ll Do:
- Project Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed timelines for large-scale construction projects, ensuring smooth progression and timely completion.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, identify delays, and provide actionable insights on schedule adjustments.
- Team Collaboration: Advise the project management team on resolving bottlenecks, and maintain regular communication with colleagues to stay updated on project developments.
- Documentation: Record and track agreements made during consultation sessions, ensuring clear communication of next steps and actions.
- Data Collection: Gather relevant project information to ensure accurate and up-to-date planning reports.
Your Profile:
- Experience: A bachelor’s or master’s degree, with initial experience as a project planner in construction or related industries.
- Skills: Highly organized with strong communication skills, especially in complex project environments.
- Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in essential productivity tools (such as Excel) is required, with familiarity in advanced project management, data analysis, and scheduling software considered a valuable asset.
- Language: Fluency in French is required.
